 Margaret Emily Man was born on 18 October 1859 at 5 Cavendish Terrace, Clapham, Surrey, the daughter of Frederick and Elizabeth
Emily (Dumas) Man and was baptized on 7 December 1859 at Holy
Trinity, Clapham Common North Side, Surrey. She married the Reverend Vere Awdry on 3 August 1887,
at St George, Beckenham, Kent.
Margaret died on
18 May 1889 in Southwick, Wiltshire and was buried on 23 May at St. Nicholas
churchyard, North Bradley, Wiltshire.Vere Awdry was born on 14 October 1854, at Notton, Wiltshire. After the death of Margaret Emily he married her cousin Louisa Mary Man on 27 October 1891. Vere died on 12 July 1928, at Box, Wiltshire. Margaret and Vere belong to Generation Six; their child belongs to Generation Seven and is:
